Glad to hear the "chase" was aborted. I'm not reading comments, no time but I'm sure it's been said. In the USA...police are not supposed to engage cycles. It's just too dangerous for everyone and innocents most of all. Karma always gets you anyway. I mean, I ride and I get it. What's the point of a bike having all that speed if you can't enjoy it once in awhile. Go to a racetrack if you can find one. We used an old abandoned airport runway. I realize this isn't an option for the vast majority of bike owners. I don't have the answer. Limiting how much power a bike can have? That's not really a good call either. Ppl will always modify or build it themselves. Can't protect ppl from themselves. No one thinks it will be them. We want freedom of choice. Unfortunately, with that comes others who don't have a say in your actions. Most "bikers" do obey the law. I like to think. I do, unless I'm on a back road thats paved and I know no one is around. I will open the throttle up. But only briefly and never past 60 lolol. I'm a puss. I ride b/c I like to enjoy the scenery and the air. I go too slow for the most part. I don't like traffic and avoid it all cost. That's just me. Your auto laws are brutal tho lol.

You can be the best 300 mph driver in the world but it's not up to you at those speeds. You can get a flat tire or other bike failure, a car or truck might do a sudden maneuver, there could be a pothole, road construction. You drive at those speeds you are at full risk of death for you and other people no matter your driving experience and skill.

The police chase lasted over 30 mins? Helicopters were involved? For a highway infraction? Good use of police resources Sweden!

There is a reason why you run, the police doesn't give to shits about you, if you are a illegal rider and the police catches you, you will loose your bike, get a fat fine, loose your license and more shit, people wouldn't run if the punishment wouldn't be so unreasonably big. I mean in Europe podophiles get lesser punishments than a fcking 17 year old kid that just likes to cruise on his dirtbike on some random ass field. (sorry for bad English, not my first language)
